Are dosing dispensers autoclavable?

Depending on the material: stainless steel parts endure repeated autoclaving without material deformation. Due to high autoclaving temperatures, individual synthetics may deform, and thus may impair the dispenser’s proper functionality. Since all common dispensers comprise at least some synthetic parts, the manufacturer should be asked if the respective dispenser can be autoclaved without any difficulties. Following dispensers from BODE’s assortment are autoclavable at 121 °C and 1 bar (higher temperatures with shorter exposure times are not possible): Eurodispenser 1 (except for the foam pump), Eurodispenser 2 (without dosing pump), and Eurodispenser 3.
