Do skin protection and skin care product have an impact on hand disinfection?

When using protection and care products prior to hand disinfection, the preparation’s regreasing film may impair the efficacy of the subsequently applied disinfectant.
BODE’s hand disinfectants Sterillium®, Sterillium® classic pure, Sterillium® Virugard and Baktosept® E were tested for their compatibility with BODE’s care products Baktolan® balm/Baktolan® balm pure and Baktolan® lotion/Baktolan® lotion pure (1). No interferences were determined.
