The Ignaz-Philipp-Semmelweis-Research Prize

With the Ignaz Philipp Semmelweis Research Prize, the German Association of Hospital Hygiene (DGKH) and BODE CHEMIE have cooperated since 1997 to foster improvements in the area of infection prevention. The Research Prize, which is awarded once every two years on a World-wide basis, is awarded for achievements in the field of applied infection control measures and includes 15.000 EUR in prize money. Entry deadline for participation is the 30th September of each submission year.
