"Prevention Above All"

An Invitational Conference for Healthcare leaders callenged with providing cost-effective quality care Hosted by BODE`s U.S.distribution partner MEDLINE Industries, Inc., August 16-18th 2009 in Washington DC:

On August 17 and 18, 2009 Medline, BODE distribution partner in North America for Sterillium Rub and Sterillium Comfort Gel, brought together U.S. hospital leaders for its second annual Prevention Above All Forum to discuss improving patient care while reducing cost. More than 100 chief nursing officers, chief medical officers and healthcare quality executives from 34 states attended the two-day forum. A select group of healthcare policy experts and professionals provided guidance and knowledge on patient safety strategies and an innovative portfolio of targeted interventions that translate research findings into practical, evidence-based solutions to improve outcomes. Professor Didier Pittet, Epidemiologist at the University of Geneva Hospitals and member of the WHO advisory board introduced Hand Hygiene improvement strategies and Dr. Guenter Kampf presented new discoveries and considerations on the efficacy of different hand sanitizing techniques.
