Semmelweis-Research Prize 2008
Application deadline is September 30, 2007

In order to record innovative achievements in applied infection prevention, the German Association of Hospital Hygiene (DGKH) and BODE Chemie jointly award the biannual Ignaz-Philipp-Semmelweis-Research Prize. Applications for this international prize endowed with 15,000 EUR are accepted until September 30, 2007.

The Ignaz-Philipp-Semmelweis-Research Prize awards outstanding and innovative achievements in the areas of hand hygiene, hand disinfection, body hygiene, asepsis, and antisepsis. The joint global award of the German Association of Hospital Hygiene (DGKH) and BODE Chemie was brought into being ten years ago.

The application deadline for the coming presentation of the Semmelweis-Research Prize is September 30, 2007. Submissions in German or English languages must have been published or accepted for printing and evaluated according to a review procedure. This call for papers for the last time also accepts defended dissertations. The biannual scientific award, which carries 15,000 EUR in prize money, is awarded globally.
