BODE: New logistics center opened
As of now, BODE CHEMIE can fall back on a logistics area of approx. 6,800 sqm in Henstedt-Ulzburg. On September 8, Dr. Ulrich Möllers, Managing Director of BODE, opened the new logistics center in the presence of Dietrich Austermann, Schleswig-Holstein’s Minister of Economic Affairs, and Alexander Otto, Director of ECE, who developed and realized the logistics center.
The new building features a hall of approx. 95 meters by 65 and with a clearance of just under 10 meters. Seven jumbo loading bridges and a roller shutter at ground level complement the hall ensuring highest internal flexibility and functionality. Additionally, this setting offers “a tailor-made solution” for BODE’s portfolio of medicinal products, medical devices and biocides, as Dr. Ulrich Möllers contentedly states. Beyond it, the new logistics center makes way for BODE’s planned production expansion at the Hamburg-Stellingen site. For a start, BODE rents this logistics area for a ten year period.
