Data protection
The protection of personal data and their confidential
treatment is an utmost concern of our visitors. BODE Chemie GmbH is
aware of that. Hence, we would like to outline, which information we collect
and how they are handled.
Update of this Privacy Policy
Due to constant technical and legal innovations we have to change or
update following Privacy Policy from time to time. Before each use
of our website, therefore, please have a look, if a revised version
has been put online. The last update was made in May 2004.
Type of collected information
- We collect collective data, i.e. data on the number of website visitors and the pages they visit. In detail this means that for each retrieval following information is stored: file name, date and time of retrieval, transferred amount of data, and a message, if the retrieval was successful. These data give us information about general interests and preferences of our visitors. The data are non-personalized, but of general, statistic nature. We cannot retrace, which user retrieved which data.
- In addition, we collect and store automatic information, which is transferred by your browser; in particular your IP address and the version of your browser software. These data are a basic module of internet technology and are only collected for system administration and correct website transfer purposes.
- In case you send us e-mails under ‘Contact’ or request
information material on other pages, we kindly ask you to submit
your name, your address, your occupational group, your e-mail address and your
age. These data are stored. Please note that not all of this information is mandatory.
To a large extent it is therefore in your hands, which information
you entrust to us. Mandatory data are necessary in order to fulfill your requests.
As a matter of course, you may also appear anonymously and under a pseudonym
respectively.
All data are stored or processed separately, and are never consolidated. BODE Chemie GmbH does not create any user profiles.
Period of storage and cancellation
Personal data are stored for 6 months at most, or until your
request is fulfilled. Of course and at any time, you have
the option of having your data cancelled partially or completely.
We will comply with your request immediately.

hard drive of a website visitor. They allow you to make personal
settings on the website. By means of these files a visitor’s
behavior can be tracked, in particular which pages
are retrieved. Most browsers accept cookies automatically.
However, the configuration of some browsers does not accept
cookies or indicates when cookies are sent to you.
BODE Chemie GmbH does not use any cookies in conjunction

and to immediately cancel them, as soon as they are not needed
anymore. However, please understand that we cannot comprehensively
control the compliance with these obligations. Hence, we
do not assume liability for possible infringements.
