Over 40 years ago, we developed the first marketable alcohol-based rub-in hand antiseptic: Sterillium®. Europe’s market leading hand disinfectant is only one highlight of our portfolio, which comprises 400 products in total. We took the challenges of the changing markets as a chance and continuously advanced our company. Today, BODE distributes high-performance products for the protection against infections and contaminations in more than 40 countries in the world.

Selling shares to Beiersdorf AG in the eighties and becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of PAUL HARTMANN AG, Heidenheim, on 1st January 2009 clearly set the course of the former family business for expansion.

PAUL HARTMANN AG offers system solutions in the areas of wound, incontinence and OR management for care facilities, clinics and medical practices / outpatient OR centres. Being a subsidiary of PAUL HARTMANN AG provides additional potentials for disinfection products in interesting markets. Consequently, BODE will be able to even further distinguish itself on tomorrow’s infection control market.
