BODE has a tradition of competence: emanated from Bacillolfabrik Dr. Bode & Co. in 1924, BODE ranks among the leading hygiene specialists today. Over 40 years ago, we developed the first marketable alcohol-based rub-in hand antiseptic: Sterillium®. Europe’s market leading hand disinfectant is only one highlight of our portfolio, which comprises 400 products in total. We took the challenges of the changing markets as a chance and continuously advanced our company. Today, BODE distributes high-performance products for the protection against infections and contaminations in more than 40 countries in the world.

By selling shares to Beiersdorf AG, the up-to-then family company prepared the ground for an international orientation. Today, as 100 percent daughter of this global corporate group with particular skin competence, we expand our know-how also in medical skin care and professional skin protection.
